Friday morning ride.
With a day off work, I was looking forward to a longer than normal ride this morning but life conspired against me and I had to be someplace by 8:30. No matter, I still managed to get a two hour ride in on an absolutely unbelievable morning. After all the rain and humidity we’ve had, I couldn’t believe this morning was really July 18th. Nice and cool, with a bright sun shining! Good stuff….

The only pic I took today.
I guess the six mile walk we took last night toasted my legs because I just didn’t have it in me this morning. At least I didn’t have any desire to go fast and finished with a 16.9 mph average.
Here’s a link to the GPS track from today. I crossed out over Kinser Bridge, went out past Mentor, then turned east and jogged down around Elm Grove before turning back to Rogersville where I made a quick pit stop. Leaving Rogersville, I noticed the wind picking up a bit from the NW, and it conspired against me through Turners and the rest of the way home.
A good ride today, but then again, most of them are!
God bless…
