Tuesday Evening Ride
After being rained out of our morning tandem ride today, Pam and I readily accepted an invitation from Sam and Barbara to meet them for a ride this evening.
We met them out at the community church and rode most of Springbike’s Tuesday evening route, but since we left the parking lot at 6:15, the only riders we saw were a couple of guys going the opposite direction.
Once again, we had just about as nice a night to ride as you could hope for. The clouds hadn’t quite cleared yet, but there were lots of patches of blue sky trying to poke through. The humidity is way down, and the temps were in the low 70’s. Amazing.
As we crossed Highway 125 at FR 186, we noticed the alpaca’s in the pasture coming over to our corner to see us. They seemed quite interested in checking us out!
As we pulled back into the church parking lot, we confirmed that we were the last vehicles in the lot again. Because of the weather, there weren’t a lot of cars there when we left, but we do hold the title of “last riders in” for the evening.
There’s the GPS track for the evening.
God bless…
