One day, I might learn to blog….

It was a gorgeous day today.  With a temperature of 70 degrees, I decided to walk down to Founders Park at lunch and sit in the sun for a while.  While enjoying the sunshine and listening to Phil Keaggy on Pandora, I vaguely noticed three college aged young men kind of horsing around in the distance.  Presently, a load of 6th-7th grade kids showed up from one of the private Christian schools in town and generally began running around making a lot of noise, so I slowly got up and headed out of the park.

On my way out, I noticed a bike.  Not just any bike, mind you, but my old Marin MTB commuter.  I sold it in November when I got the Surly.  While I didn’t recognize him, I guess one of the three college kids was the one who bought it.  About half-way back to the office it struck me!  Dang it!  I didn’t take a picture of the bike to put on the blog!  You would think I could train myself to remember stuff like that as I encounter it, but NO!  It’s not like I don’t carry a camera everywhere I go, but I just don’t remember to use it!

So anyway, just pretend that the white space above is a picture of my old Marin parked against the concrete in Founders Park today!

God bless…

70F. You missed TWO pictures. One of the bike and another of what you were wearing as 70F winter gear. I took a shot of my leg as the first of the year wearing shorts event. Luckily I’m leaving town so you’ll be spared a post on same.

It was the best day of the year so far! I was downtown at about the same time and noticed numerous people pedaling around. I published a picture of a full rack outside the Mudhouse.
