Foiled
My regular lunch date had a meeting today, so I decided to walk down to Queen City Cycles to buy a new supply of “commuting lube”. For commuting, I’ve been using Finish Line Cross Country lube and really like it. It’s made for the sort of lube it and forget it mentality I have about my Surly. In addition, a bottle will last me a long time because I don’t use it on my other bikes.
I wasn’t sure if Queen City carried it or not, but since it was a reasonably nice day, I figured it would be worth chancing. What I didn’t expect was this!
Oh well. At least I got a couple of miles of walking in today!
