Dirty Cassette

Came out from work to find this…I guess it’s what I get for parking under a redbud tree.

Dang. I need to clean that cassette.

I hate cleaning cassettes. Like, really hate it. Any advice on a good/easy method other than remove and soak in degreaser?

For the price of an ice cream cone, a six-year old would get that cassette spotless and think he/she was ripping you off. And you might get a clean chain as well. It cost me two ice cream cones to get four Jaguar wire wheels cleaned with a toothbrush, but I felt guilty afterwards and slipped their dad some extra small bills to parcel out later.
