South Haven Cycling
I haven’t mentioned it yet this year, but we’ve been running the South Haven Cycling – Beginning Cycling Rides from church for about a month now. Last night, we had the biggest group of the year, and I think the biggest group in the three years we’ve been doing this. We had a nice leisurely ride down part of the South Creek Trail, then turned north on city streets to ride through MSU. The range of cycling experience varied from Pam, Mike, and I to about 1 month.
As we gathered back in the church parking lot afterward, I noticed Pam and Joyce circling the lot, and figured we must have ridden very close to 10 miles. Pam’s kind of funny about that…she wants to see it “click over” before she calls it a day. Sure enough, it took them about three laps before they returned with the good news.
That was the first time Joyce had ever ridden 10 miles before!
God bless…

Who hasn’t been guilty of riding around the block a couple of times to hit one of those nice round numbers? I do it all the time…….

Yup, as long as the pedals are turning those 1/10 miles count with me too.

Isn’t if fun to see friends do something that they may have thought impossible just a few weeks ago!?
