Hey, did you see the blue moon last night or this morning?  We did as we were heading back to the house from our ride.  The picture I took of it was unimpressive at best, so I decided to use the more impressive shot of the sunrise that was occurring in the eastern sky as the moon was setting in the west.

As we were riding out Sunshine, we heard the most G0d-awful racket of some sort in the patch of woods at the top of the James River hill.  There was definitely a small animal fight going on in there, but we weren’t sure what was involved.  We know it wasn’t a dog or a cat, but think it may have been a coon.  The sounds coming from the woods reminded me of the mad coon I trapped in our back yard and relocated a while back.  Come to think about it, I relocated it out in that area, so it may have been the same one…..

We had an overall decent ride, although as we were pulling back into the neighborhood, Pam asked, “Are we riding with the brakes on?  It feels like we are”.

Ummm, no.  That’s headwind!
