Labor Day
Pam and I got an early start on our Labor Day by getting out for a 5 mile run before the sun came up. It was the first half of our planned activity before heading to Arkansas for the day.
The second half of our plan was a lazy ride downtown for breakfast!
It had been a while since we had eaten at Gailey’s. It’s a Springfield landmark that has been around for years, so if we’re going to have breakfast downtown, that’s usually our choice.
Once there, the hard part is deciding what to order!
Fortunately, it’s kind of hard to mess that up….pancakes, waffles, eggs, fruit and yogurt fueled us up for the leisurely ride home.
Talk about a nice way to spend the early part of the morning, especially with my favorite person!
God bless…

Ron, please don’t feed the bears! You’ve got to look closely to see it, but the bike is highlighted in nice green stripes. Notice the color of Pam’s pants–the same green. You probably can’t tell the helmet has a matching green stripe and she has matching green gloves on. What she forgot that trip was the matching green water bottle!

I took a closer look and yes, very good color coordination. My Jan likes the blue on her bike and likes her kit to match also.
We’ve got a green bottle anytime Pam is ready!!

No need to borrow one. She already owns it!
