The other day I was walking through the break room at work on my way to the coffee and noticed this in one of the vending machines. Yogurt! And it’s even the brand I eat for breakfast nearly every day. I thought, “At last! Some reasonably healthy alternatives!”.
But then, the harsh reality of the world hit me. I saw the price. $1.50. That’s right, a buck and a half for what I buy every week at the grocery store for 50 or 55 cents. To make matters worse, in the vending machine right next to it, you can buy Snickers, Butterfingers, and several other big candy bars for $1.00 and Honeybuns and cinnamon rolls for $1.25.
I’m just sayin’, “IF YOU WANT FOLKS TO STOP EATING CRAP, YOU GOTTA MAKE THE GOOD STUFF MORE AFFORDABLE AND THE CRAP EXPENSIVE”.
