Friday Fitness – 1/18/2013

After Spinning

Yeah, I know.  I look like crap in the picture above.  That’s the result of a hard hour on the spin bike last Sunday afternoon.  It was cold and miserable outside, and I couldn’t stomach the idea of sitting around any more.  In my mind, it’s all part of base mile building while it’s too cold for fun rides!

I did have two fun things happen during the week.  I’ve signed up for Strava‘s Base Mile Blast in both running and cycling.  This week, I got the following badges!

That’s 200 miles of cycling and 25 miles of running during the month of January.  We’re about half-way through, so I’m hoping to at least double that!

Friday
