Monday
You know it’s Monday when you get bird-bombed in the first two miles of your bike commute and have yet another flat in the last two.
I swear to goodness, I’m not quite sure when I got so mad as when I had that flat. I was stomping around having a good cuss when I realized how foolish I would look if someone drove by.
As with all the others, I picked a piece of sharp gravel out of the tire. It’s the stuff they’ve been putting on our streets because of the bad weather. I’ve got Tuffy liners on order, and let me tell you, I can’t wait till they get here.
God bless…

The black and white photo seems very appropriate. When I first got back into cycling in 2010, I suffered a spate of flats so severe I almost gave up the hobby. Glad I stuck with it.

At least your frame is not bent (after a series of flats there have been times where I was tempted to see how far I could throw the bike)

You have not had much luck with the flats lately! The Tuffy liners have made a huge difference for me. Was averaging at least one flat per week before adding the Tuffy’s, now I’m averaging one every two months.
